Hey everyone!
I wanted to know if anyone knew of a video that compiles all of Angels flashbacks in chronological order from Liam to Becoming Part 1. I would love to see them seamlessly after each other instead of bits and pieces throughout both series.

This is so great... although, I have to wonder how coherent the flashback scenes are watched in order. Both in terms of costuming (the earlier flashbacks airdate-wise are a lot cheesier looking) and character consistency.
But it also means you get to watch "Are You Now" without the framing device and "The Prodigal" without the stupid demon drug ring stuff, which is neat.

There will definitely be inconsistencies just based on the ages of the actors and the different video formats as well. I mean obviously the HD Angel Season 5 flashbacks are gonna look different to the bits from Becoming 1 (the latter is particularly odd given the events of Prodigal are meant to be enveloped around it).
Generally I appreciate the framing devices being integrated with the flashbacks since (kind of like LOST) the point is that they are supposed to relate to what's going on in the present (Five by Five being the most prescient example and also with the cuts in Darla at the end pretty much being made to coincide with what was going on in the modern day).
Speaking of flashbacks you may have noticed in your run-through that there's been significantly fewer flashbacks since mid-Season 3 of Angel. My guess is they realized they were kind of overdoing it at that point and with Darla out of the way and Holtz in the present there was less of a need for them. Still there are still some juicy ones to come before the series wraps up.
Still having this all in one form does make you appreciate the epic backstory that the Whirlwind (they don't really use that name often enough but there it is for simplicity) has and it's probably one of the more intricate things the Buffyverse has to offer.

Hrmmm. Looking at the transition points, there's some serious tonal whiplash at points-- Angel's encounter with the Thesulac in "Are You Now" immediately segues into the ciao-ciao-ciao scene from "The Girl in Question," which is, uh, a bizarre choice.
But the last clip is the opening of "School Hard" which is so cool. So, no complaints.

Yea... It doesn't really work as a cohesive unit but it definitely has the novelty factor. There's some parts that work quite well, others not so much.
It kind of makes you think about what a Spike TV movie would be like, since Joss and James had always expressed interest in doing something like that.

The "Heartthrob" flashbacks really stick out like a sore thumb here. It's so obviously shoehorned.
