Not long ago, my stuffed teddy bear began speaking to me, ordering me to review a new show for Critically Touched. Talking teddy bears must always be obeyed, so I agreed.
And thus, Wonderfalls reviews will begin running on CT, starting early next week.

Neat.
How spoiler-ific is the first review going to be? I doubt I'll have watched the entire series in one week.

I won't go into future-episode spoilers in the reviews themselves. Any such spoilers will be confined to the "Foreshadowing" section. I probably won't even go into excessive spoilers there, but you can avoid those sections until you've seen the whole series.

Also, for those of you interested in bobbing your barrel along with me, the easiest way to watch Wonderfalls is on DVD. But if you can't get it that way, there are a number of YouTube channels that can help. This channel has all the episodes, but inexplicably stretches out some of the running times. Those episodes can thus feel a little awkward to watch. This channel has all the episodes at proper length, albeit split into multiple parts and with slightly grainy video quality. As far as I can tell, neither of these channels have posted the show "illegally." Plus, they both retain the show's infectiously catchy theme song.

So, just making sure here: "Pink Flamingos" is supposed to be the second episode, but otherwise the run order and the broadcast order are identical?
(I mean, I watched it fourth but didn't really lose anything from watching out of order.)

Yes, "Pink Flamingos" is the second episode. Because Fox aired only four episodes, the remainder were broadcast in different orders on a number of US and Canadian cable networks.
Your safest bet is to just go by the order on the DVD (which is also the one used on Wikipedia).

So I only have to wait a week to hear your take on "Pink Flamingos"'s respectful yet nuanced take on Judaism? Cool.

So are these in lieu of West Wing S6 reviews? I don't blame you for not wanting to tackle "The Birnam Wood."

It's just a change of pace for now. I need a break between reviewing mediocre West Wing and outright bad West Wing.
Save me, Arnold Vinick! Save me now!

My review of "Lawn Flamingos" will be a couple of days late. The week has been super-busy. Also, there are a couple of animated shows I want to blog about next week, because #Anniversaries.

One, you can't just stick hashtags in front of random nouns like that. And two, does that mean we get that June Foray retrospective I was bugging you about even though she's not going to have a hundredth birthday ( ) ?

I may still write a posthumous retrospective on June Foray, who was wonderful and shall be missed. Depends on what I can think to say beyond "I loved Granny and also Rocky the Flying Squirrel." But on the bright side, I have another Blog post planned for next month with the word "feminist" in the title. Because #Anniversaries! (Oops. #ThereIGoAgain.) I got the DVD's from the library, so I should start watching soon. Yay! Anyone else jumping on the train (or hopping into the barrel, as the case may be)?

I only have four episodes left, and am starting to like the show. I think that the curse of Fuller (self-conscious quirkiness to the max) is putting a damper on my enjoyment of the show, so I think it's charming rather than "good" per se.
