Dude, I'm already doing one 20th-anniversary TV post next month. Let's pace ourselves.

Wow, a Mutant X reference, aka, the X-men ripoff where the main antagonist was Andy Warhol

Technically, Mutant X was produced by Marvel Studios, so it's not really a ripoff. But point taken.

I was initially going to go out and find a picture of the villain character from Mutant X, so that I could leverage that into a David Bowie reference by posting pictures of the villain side by side with the artist and say "ANDY WARHOL / SILVER SCREEN / CAN'T TELL THEM APART AT ALL"... But, in the process of failing to do that via IMDB, I discovered the existence of a show formerly on the USA Network called Cleopatra 2525, which features this summary: It also lasts only two seasons and stars Gina Torres, so I'd like to possibly conscript Quiara into viewing this and/or reviewing this.

Believe it or not, I did once watch an episode of Cleopatra 2525. The writing was bad and the production values were cheesy. But still, Gina Torres.
It aired in syndication alongside Jack of All Trades, a goofy Revolution-era series starring Bruce Campbell. TV is weird, folks.

I lament that I've not seen nearly enough of Jack of All Trades or The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr..

Okay, okay, last article about The Tick. At least until someone finds a way to get Die Fledermaus/Batmanuel into the new series. 'Cause then all bets are off.

Today I discuss the concept of whitewashing in recent news! Because who would know more about the subject than a white guy with a Wallace Fennel avatar.
