Do you know why Christopher Lloyd is playing Lawrence Lessig, rather than having Lessig play himself (like Penn and Teller did) or creating a fictionalized version of Lessig (like... every character on West Wing)? Josh Singer, who wrote the episode, was a former student of Lawrence Lessig in Harvard. He named Christopher Lloyd's character after him as a tribute, and even contacted the real Lessig (who had worked on the Georgia constitution) to get information for the storyline. It's sort of like how David Simon used to name and model characters in The Wire after people he knew. Except in Simon's case, he mostly did it to annoy them.

Hard to come up with my own pop-culture reference when the title of this episode is itself a pop-culture reference. "Freedonia" is now reviewed.

I'd make a joke about how I have only "thirtsomething" episodes left to review, but the truth is... there's even less than that! "Drought Conditions" is now reviewed.

At the rate we're going, we'll finish "Tomorrow" on Inauguration Day!

I know my pacing of these reviews has... not been great lately, but I'm planing now to pick it up again. The goal is to finish Season Six by the end of next month, and start Season Seven shortly after.

None. If I do review another show after finishing West Wing, it'll be something short, probably below 30 episodes. (I also still want to get back to Wonderfalls, hopefully reviewing the rest of that show next year.)
Mike warned me back when I started this project that it would take a ton of time and energy. But I was young and naive enough to start it anyway. It's been a lot of fun, and I feel that I've grown a ton as a writer and critic these last few years. But for anyone else out there who's thinking about reviewing a 150+ episode show, I say... think twice.

I would seriously consider reviewing an animated show after wrapping TWW. It helps that their episodes are typically 22 minutes, so I don't need to budget as much time to rewatch them.

Gravity Falls seems like a prime candidate. Great show, and only 40 episodes (I believe it's been discussed before here). But perhaps you'd want to cover something more obscure? Speaking of animation + really, really long reviewing projects, Eric Stone has reviewed 271 episodes of Adventure Time so far over at adventuretimereviewed.wordpress.com. He'll probably finish the finale in a couple of months. Pretty crazy-but they are 11 minutes long (even though many of them are drenched in symbolism). You could also do one of those really great 1-season animated shows, like Over the Garden Wall.

One of my secret shames is that I've never seen Over the Garden Wall. Though it's probably not much of a secret now that I've mentioned that on the forum. But a shame nonetheless.
Gravity Falls is one of many animated shows worth reviewing. (Someone actually pitched it to me as a CT project a couple of years ago, but nothing ever came of it.) Not sure I'd want to do it myself, but it'd be a good addition to the site.

I think I asked Jeremy about writing reviews of the short-lived animated adaptation of The Maxx that aired on MTV. It's a smart show.
I'm also seconding "finish those damn Wonderfalls reviews!"

Yes, I watched The Maxx at you recommendation a few years ago (before you were known as Quiara). It's a well-made and inventive show, and one of the shortest even in terms of running time. If you're still interested in reviewing it, just let me know.
I'm going to focus on finishing West Wing S6 these next few weeks; after that, we'll see about getting back to Wonderfalls.

On top of hunting Oz, resurrecting Holtz, and yelling at Kim Kelley, the Major finds time to threaten war with Canada? Is there anything he can't do? "A Good Day" is now reviewed.

Leland Palmer as the governor of California might sound crazy, until you remember that California also elected the Terminator. "La Palabra" is now reviewed.
