No, I'm not going to make a joke about the obnoxious boss from Black-ish being obnoxious before Black-ish. If you know the context, it's asking for trouble. "Message of the Week" is now reviewed.

Call Mr. Frost, that's my name, that name again is Mr. Frost.(Incidentally, I apologize for the little NBC watermark at the bottom of each header photo. Tough to find good-quality screencaps of the later seasons. But perhaps it will make people nostalgic for the 2006 Winter Olympics?)

Lots to talk about with "Here Today". Not just the story, but the visuals! And the camerawork! Hope it doesn't make me sound too snobby (perish the thought).

I guess we now have an answer to "Where's Hank, Walt?"* "The Al Smith Dinner" is now reviewed. *When i came up with this joke in 2014, it was fresh off the end of the show, and thus seemed especially mean-spirited, and thus especially funny. Time, alas, has dulled its edge.

Let the record show that I like "The Debate." Or, um, I don't like "The Debate," but I like that "The Debate" exists. Does that make sense?

That sounds very similar to my feelings about "Isaac and Ishmael."
(I remember Sepinwall once called "The Debate" the worst episode in West Wing history, outside of "Access." I'm not a fan of the episode, but for my money, it's still the best ep of the show that has a Presidential debate in it.)

Not to toot my own horn, but I think my review of "The Debate" is worth reading even if you've never watched a single minute of The West Wing. Just saying. No pressure.

It took me a while to review "Undecideds", since - well, it's an episode that kind of frustrates me, and only grows more frustrating each time I watch it. It hasn't aged well! Please note that this review will be upsetting to anyone who has ever held a political opinion.

I propose that "The Wedding" is not a good episode. Get it? Propose? Look, I've been doing this for like eight years, cut me some slack.

Was gonna make a casting joke about Matt Santos' brother, but I think this one was intentional, so I'll leave it as is. Anyway, here's my take on "Running Mates".

Happy November! I was compelled to write more about The West Wing this week, don't know why. "Duck and Cover" is now reviewed.

Very hypocritical of Jane Braun to talk about the sanctity of marriage after cheating on her husband with Don Draper. "Two Weeks Out" is now reviewed.

Jeremy, be real - how strong was the temptation to make a joke about that other nobody-to-national-name politician named Santos?
