The Season Three premiere has aired! And it's (temporarily) streaming on the Adult Swim website. www.adultswim.com/videos/streamsThe rest of the season will apparently air in the summer.

Just finished it. Best April Fools present ever. My favorite part of the episode was all the Rick stuff-normal Rick, past Rick, and the Council of Ricks. Great stuff.

I was surprised by how dark the premiere was, but then again, it's been a while since I've watched the show. Overall, I really enjoyed it.
And hey, it's been a year and a half! Mr. Poopy Butthole was right after all.

When I clicked on that, it was in the middle of the episode. So it's an ongoing live stream, and you just have to wait for it to come back around to the beginning?

Yeah, that happened to me, too. I watched the last five minutes of the episode before I'd seen the rest of it.
Kind of annoying, but after all this wait, I'll take what I can get.

Man, that was convoluted, even by this show's ridiculous standards.
And I've forgotten something: was the original Rick to the family the one buried in the backyard?

No, the Rick (and Morty) in the backyard are from an alternate dimension that wasn't affected by the love potion. The show's principal Rick and Morty took their place in the new world.

I liked the episode, though that continuous stream was incredibly inconvenient. Is that part of the April Fool's joke or something?
I'm interested to see where the story goes from here, and if Jerry really goes through with the divorce. I've tended to be on his side, but he's also the least interesting of the main cast, so this could really be the time for him to come into his own as a character.

Adult Swim LOVES April Fools' jokes. It's the one day a year they can annoy their viewers and get away with it.

Mr. Poopy Butthole was right after all. I've watched it kind of recently, about a few months ago or so. The premiere seemed pretty dark, because there were fewer laugh-out-loud jokes than usual (excluding "HAHA Your Rick's deeeeeeeeeead"), and Rick's compassion turning out to be another manipulative game of his, but there's been some other darker stuff, like Morty and the Jellybean. Overall, I'm in the same boat as you. Solid episode. We should be in good shape if the rest of the season is of this quality or (hopefully) better. Well that butthole was kinda right.....we have to wait 2 and a half months minimum for the rest of the season................. #9MoreSeasons

Okay, so a recent "Letter to the Editor" in my local newspaper reported that a group of teenagers in blue shirts are going around town, offering to help people with work or chores. They then promptly proceed to damage their property and cause problems. These delinquents collectively refer to themselves as "Meeseeks."
Now, two points spring to mind:
1. Every time I think New Yorkers can't get weirder, they get freaking weirder. 2. This really isn't what Meeseeks do.

And, of course, 3. Rick and Morty fans are obnoxious.
But we already knew that.

I just took it to mean that New Yorkers were obnoxious. But we already knew that, right, Quiara?
Rick and Morty fans are usually pretty cool. I mean, except when they start requesting more "Interdimensional Cable" episodes.
